Montréal, CANADA – THANATOFILMS, une filière de Les productions Outofnowhere inc., est fière d’annoncer la première nord américaine de THANATOMORPHOSE (100 minutes, HD, 2012) au Frequency Film Festival (San Diego, Etats-Unis) le jeudi 6 juin 2013 à 19h20.

Le Frequency Film Festival (www.frequencyfilmfestival.com) est un festival annuel se déroulant sur plusieurs mois. La prochaine série de projections se tiendra de la fin mai au début juin. Un autre film québécois, La Cicatrice de Jimmy Larouche, fait partie de la sélection.

Écrit et réalisé par Éric Falardeau (Crépuscule, Coming Home, Purgatory), Thanatomorphose a remporté le prix du Meilleur film de la XXXIième édition du Festival de Cine de Terror de Molins de Rei (Espagne) et celui des Meilleurs maquillages en effets spéciaux au A Night of Horror International Film Festival (Australie).

Il met en vedette Kayden Rose, Davyd Tousignant, Émile Beaudry, Karine Picard, Roch-Denis Gagnon, Éryka L. Cantieri, Pat Lemaire et Simon Laperrière.

ThanatoFilms, en association avec Les productions Outofnowhere, sont fiers d'annoncer la sélection du court métrage CAM SHOT (Éric Falardeau, super 8mm, noir et blanc, 2008, 4 minutes) au Mascara & Popcorn Festival 2011 (4 au 11 juillet 2011).

Le festival mascara & popcorn est un événement socioculturel voué à la promotion et à la diffusion de cinéastes indépendants et artistes multidisciplinaires.

La projection aura lieu le MERCREDI 6 JUILLET au MAINLINE THEATRE (3997, boul Saint-Laurent (c. Duluth)). Les portes ouvriront à 19h e la projection des courts débutera à 20h. Le coût d'entrée est de 5$.

Il s'agit d'une occasion unique de voir CAM SHOT, car depuis son avant-première en 2008 il n'a jamais été présenté à Montréal. Entre-temps, le film a fait le tour du monde (États-Unis, Angleterre, Canada, Afrique du Sud, Italie). Il a été présenté dans de nombreux festivals dédiés aux arts et à l'érotisme.

Cam Shot est un essai visuel sur l'attrait fétichisant du cinéma (la pellicule, les contrats, l'iconographie, etc.).

Mascara & Popcorn is a week-long festival making its debut in July 2011, uniting independent filmmakers and artists alike in the hopes that it will impact communities in a positive and creative way. ThanatoFilms, en association avec les Productions Outofnowhere, est fière d'annoncer la sélection du court -métrage fantastique LE CYCLE (Éric Falardeau, DV CAM, 2009, 7 minutes) dans le cadre de la 5e édition du MONTREAL UNDERGROUND FILM FESTIVAL (MUFF).

Le festival se tiendra du 13 mai au 15 mai 2010 à Montréal.

Première Nord-Américaine de LE CYCLE au TROMADANCE NEW MEXICO!

Je suis heureux d'annoncer la première Nord-Américaine de LE CYCLE (2009, DVCam, 7 minutes) dans le cadre de la prochaine édition (la 6e) de l'excellent TROMADANCE NEW MEXICO (festival satellite du TromaDance) du 20 au 22 novembre 2009 à Albuquerque (États-Unis).

LE CYCLE fait partie du bloc C de courts-métrages.

LE CYCLE a été tourné entre Purgatory et Coming Home en 2006! Il n'a été terminé qu'en juin dernier. C'est un film fantastique dans la tradition des Twilight Zone mettant en vedette Miguel Doucet.

Le film sera projeté dans le cadre du XI CERTAMEN INTERNACIONAL DE CORTOMETRAJES de Ciudad de Soria à Soria en Espagne le 26 novembre 2009.
